Get to know the DZ BANK Art Collection! In the Westend 1 building in Frankfurt, photographic works from the Collection are on show on every storey.
The high-rise complex by Kohn/Petersen/Fox on Frankfurt's Westendstrasse opened in April 1993 and has long occupied an unmistakable place on the Frankfurt skyline. It now boasts a modern service center.
As Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen's necktie "Inverted Collar and Tie", dating from 1994 on the forecourt, makes clear, the company considers art an integral part of its corporate culture.
Large sections of the Art Collection are always on display for employees at DZ BANK's Frankfurt head office and at a great number of domestic and foreign and branch offices – and for customers, guests and members of the public interested in art.
Although every storey – independent of whether the art is arranged monographically, in dialogue or by subject matter – can be taken alone, the particular quality of the DZ BANK Art Collection is especially noticeable when we consider the overall interrelationships between the different works shown in the building.
